Hidden Acres B&B is a log home full of country charm. Your hosts, George and Carol Heintz moved to Prescott from Littleton Co. in 2001. It was a long hard search, but they finally found this hidden piece of heaven. They decided to remodel the lower level into a 800+ sq. ft. Country Suite. It is furnished with country decor and many lovely antiques, you'll feel at home as soon as you step inside. It has a living area with sectional, full kitchen, eating area, large bedroom with wrought iron heart shaped queen size bed. Private bath with shower, private entrance and covered parking just steps away from your front door. You will enjoy the Cable TV, DVD, AC, internet access, and gas log fireplace. Two night minimum accepted, or weekly and monthly rates available. The Country Suite is perfect for vacation getaways, business travel, relocation guests and extended stays. A full delicious breakfast is served in the dining area for guests staying for a nightly, two night minimum. Breakfast not provided for weekly and monthly guests.
The Western Pleasure Escape room was decorated to recapture a feeling of the old west. You will experience the peaceful beauty of nature and the seclusion welcomed by all. The Western Pleasure room has it's own private entrance, a queen size bed, loveseat, dressing table, electric fireplace and cable TV. You may be welcomed by our two Minature Donkeys, Paulee and Brayonna, who love to greet our guests and wander around our beautiful homestead. You'll quickly learn what donkey love is all about! You may hear a donkey bray if you sleep past 8:30 a.m. A homemade breakfast will be waiting in the upstairs dining room.
Relax and enjoy natures beauty. Swing on the porch swings, or enjoy the old country rockers, lay in the hammock, or sit in the old log glider, under the big pine tree. There a beautiful views of Indian Peak and Mingus Mountain from your front porch. For bird lovers, this is the perfect place to watch the varieties of hummingbirds, woodpeckers, bluejays, doves, finches, roadrunners and many quail families. On a cooler winter evening curl up and unwind by the flames of the fireplace. We offer a stress free environment!!
Breakfast time is a time for good food, laughter and a place for friendship to grow. We offer a full breakfast, with lots of fresh fruits, juices, gourmet coffee and homemade muffins or breads. Some of our special entrees consist of peach french toast, Dutch crepes with fresh fruit, a variety of oven omelettes, chicken and turkey sausage. Please advise us if you have food allergies or diet restrictions.
You will be greeted by three friendly rescue dogs. Chancy is a brindle boxer and Spanky is a spotted Heinz 57. Minnie, our most recent rescue, is a 9 pound Boston Terrier and recently took over as the hospitality director. Our guest quarters are pet free. Our two miniature donkeys, Brayonna and Paulee, are a real joy and we hope you will enjoy them as much as we do. Come stay at Hidden Acres B&B, and you'll leave with special memories!
